Permanently Broken!

So, this is my third attempt at using markers/copics and I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of it!  I've pretty happy with the depth of the piece and I learned a lot about layering markers using more than one colour.  Sorry if it seems just a touch blurry but I still don't have a REALLY good scanner so I had to resort to a photo; again, the picture doesn't quite do the...er... picture justice. 

The title draws its name from Nora's pose being borrowed from the cover of Rush's 1980 album, "Permanent Waves" (I tried to combine the model's hair and Nora's own to rather successful effect - I'm actually really happy with the hair!!) and Nora's line when she polished off an Ursa in Volume 1 ("Aw... it's broken!").  I know, I drew her in her Volume 4 outfit so this is another Ursa she Magnhild'd to death in a different forest.  So this Grimm is "Permanently Broken".  Now, do yourself a favour and go listen to some Rush; feel free to check out the album cover to see my inspiration (and just maybe the panty shot was a nod to the "accidental eyeful" Ren gets at the end of Volume 4).  We find inspiration in the most unexpected of places, don't we?
